1. About the Service
My Claim Buddy ("the Service") is operated by Claimtech Ltd. We provide a self-service platform with tools, templates, and AI-powered guidance to help UK consumers make motor finance mis-selling claims independently.
We are not a law firm, solicitor, or regulated claims management company. We do not provide legal advice, and we do not act on your behalf.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must be a UK resident
- You must have (or have had) a motor finance agreement you believe was mis-sold
3. What We Provide
- Step-by-step claim creation guidance
- Automated qualification checks based on your answers
- AI-generated complaint letters tailored to your claim details
- An AI chat assistant to answer questions about the claims process
- A dashboard to track your claims
The complaint letters and guidance we provide are based on publicly available FCA guidelines and standard consumer rights frameworks. They are templates and starting points — you are responsible for reviewing and submitting them.
4. Payment
Access to complaint letter generation and unlimited AI chat requires a one-time payment. The price is displayed before you pay. Once paid, your access covers unlimited claims and letters with no recurring charges.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
5. Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have immediate access to digital content and services, and you waive any right to a cooling-off period or refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and truthful information about your finance agreements
- Review all generated letters before sending them to lenders
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Use the service only for legitimate claim purposes
7. Limitation of Liability
We provide tools and templates to assist you. We do not guarantee any specific outcome for your claims. The success of a claim depends on many factors beyond our control, including your specific finance agreement, the lender's assessment, and regulatory decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
8. AI-Generated Content
Our complaint letters and chat responses are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should always review generated content before using it. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content without review.
9. Intellectual Property
Complaint letters generated for you through the Service belong to you. You may use, modify, and submit them as you wish. The platform itself, including its design, code, and branding, remains our property.
10. Account Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
